Job Description:

We’re looking for an HR and Talent Acquisition Executive to join Excity Media at our Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh office. This role involves managing the end-to-end recruitment process while ensuring the smooth functioning of day-to-day HR operations and office management. The ideal candidate will work closely with the leadership team to support our talent and growth strategy, as well as foster a positive and productive workplace culture.This is a full-time on-site position based in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. 

Key Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition:

  • Draft job descriptions and post them on various platforms, including social media and job portals, while managing responses.
  • Work closely with leadership to define monthly and quarterly recruiting goals and ensure timely delivery.
  • Source, screen, and shortlist candidates using internal/external databases, social media, and job portals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external staffing agencies, headhunters, and talent partners to expand the candidate pipeline.
  • Manage recruitment activities such as interview scheduling, communication with candidates, offers, and onboarding.
  • Ensure a strong candidate experience by maintaining clear and timely communication with all applicants.

HR Operations:

  • Oversee and manage the day-to-day tasks of the office, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
  • Maintain employee records, attendance, and leave policies, ensuring compliance with company guidelines.
  • Facilitate payroll coordination with the finance team by providing necessary HR inputs.
  • Assist in creating and implementing HR policies and initiatives that support employee engagement and growth.
  • Organize team-building events, celebrations, and other initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Address employee grievances, resolve conflicts, and ensure alignment with company policies and values.

Onboarding and Office Management:

  • Ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new hires, from documentation to induction.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the office, including facilities management, vendor coordination, and supply management.
  • Work closely with leadership to identify opportunities for improving workplace processes and culture.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Has excellent communication skills – verbal, written, and presentation.
  • Is proficient in Google Workspace tools (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and other relevant HR and recruitment tools.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, start-up environment, and loves solving challenges with a proactive mindset.
  • Has a strong leadership mindset, taking ownership of tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrates organizational and project management skills, balancing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Possesses analytical skills to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
  • Is comfortable working part of their time in the US Pacific time zone.

Education & Experience:

  • 1+ years of experience in HR, talent acquisition, or related roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
